Scandic hotel chain has picked up the Best CSR Programme award at the Worldwide Hospitality ceremony in Paris.
The hotel chain”s president and CEO Frank Fishers and vice president Sustainable Business Jan Bergkvist were both in the French capital to receive the award.
The CSR Programme covers many areas including the environment, sustainable development and societal development.
Different topics are included such as Society, Accessibility, Health and the environment. For example Scandic guarantees accessibility for disabled people in its hotels and their environmental work comprises of scrapping disposable packaging.
”This award is acknowledgement of our commitment to sustainable development and Corporate Social Responsibility,” said Scandic President and CEO, Frank Fiskers.
