Hydrangea House is SACO”s second building and is an extension of existing Castle Crescent apartments. The property offers five more apartments, including one that has its own private garden, bringing the total at Castle Crescent to 28 one and two-bedroom apartments, duplexes and townhouses.
Prices at Castle Crescent and Clipper House start from ”90 ($177) per night (ex VAT).
Reading is a popular location because of its business and retail credentials, while it is home to international companies such as Microsoft and is a hub for high technology industries.
Apartments boast a large living room with dining area, fully fitted kitchen, master bedroom with king size bed and separate bathroom. Two bedroom apartments have an additional en-suite shower room.
”We are responding to a strong increase in demand as corporate travellers begin to recognise the benefits of serviced apartments,” said SACO apartments Reading manager Juliet Howe. ”Together with Clipper House, this gives us a good geographical spread in the town, allowing customers to be able to choose between modern city centre apartments in the heart of the action and a quieter location. They also have guaranteed parking which is unusual for city centre apartments.”
Serviced apartments have become popular with business travellers during the last couple of years as they offer privacy and flexibility, together with the added benefits of many hotel-type services, such as maid service, internet access points and concierge/reception.
SACO currently provides 11,000 serviced apartments across 35 countries. Many are operated through a network of global serviced apartment providers while others are owned and managed by SACO.
