Rezidor Hotel Group has announced plans for a new Park Inn in front of Terminal 2 at Frankfurt Airport.
Scheduled to open in early 2010, it will be part of a new development of offices, hotels and shops known as ”Gateway Gardens”.
The 209-room Park Inn Frankfurt Airport will include 2,150 sq ft (200 sq m) of meeting facilities, WiFi broadband in rooms, restaurant, and underground parking for 100 cars.
”Frankfurt is the second largest airport in Europe, and with this new property we are underling our status as one of the largest airport hotel management companies in the region,” said Rezidor Hotel Group president and CEO, Kurt Ritter.
Rezidor also manages the Radisson SAS Hotel Frankfurt, 15min from the airport, and worldwide the group”s portfolio runs to 322 hotels ” including those under development ” offering 66,000 rooms in 48 countries.
