The India-based hotel company is to open two new business hotels - one in January 2007 and another in 2008
India-based Park Hotels is to open a new boutique hotel in January 2007 in Mumbai, India. Another hotel in Hyderabad, India is due to open in 2008, featuring 300 rooms.
Park Hotels, who own a number of Conran-designed hotels throughout India (including Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, New Delhi and Visakhapatnam), have always targeted business travellers and the new hotels are no exception. A spokesperson from the company told ABTN: ”We”ve got everything a business traveller could want. You name it, we”ve got it”.
Park Hotels is looking to open another three or four properties, also in India, over the next few years. According to the spokesperson international expansion is ”on the radar”.
The company is also preparing to launch a luxury yacht for corporate entertainment and business events, which will take its passengers on a tour of the back waters of India. Park Hotels plans to launch the yacht in 2007.
