Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts has announced plans to add a second hotel in Singapore by 1 February and debut in China”s third largest city, Tianjin.
The two properties will expand the group”s portfolio to 13 hotels.
The Pan Pacific Orchard in Singapore will be located within the commercial area on Orchard Road and will be a ten-minute drive or ride via the MRT train to the central business district.
Of the 200 guestrooms, 48 are Pacific Club luxury executive suites and rooms, where guests receive special club privileges including priority check-in and check-out, butler service, complimentary breakfast and evening cocktails, plus free internet access.
Additional features include a well- equipped business centre, six meeting rooms with a total space of 5,000sq ft (463sq m), a boardroom, lobby lounge and fitness centre.
The 342-room Pan Pacific Tianjin, China will be located in the northwest downtown area in the Hong Qiao District. Tianjin is a port city charting a new economic path due to the establishment of high tech industries, including plans for assembly plants for A320 airliners to open in 2009.
The hotel”s meeting facilities include 15 function rooms with a total meeting space of 25,600sq ft (2,380sq m), and other amenities include an executive lounge, restaurant, gym and pool.
