Lofstrand and Pyatt join KDS
Annicka Lofstrand has joined Paris-based IT company KDS as its business development director EMEA.
The French company has also appointed Gary Pyatt as its sales manager.
Ms Lofstrand who has 15 years' experience in the travel industry technology, joins from GetThere where she was senior business development manager EMEA.
Ms Lofstrand is also active in the Association of Corporate Travel Executives and the Swedish Business Travel Association.
Mr Pyatt, with 20 years' experience of the industry, joins from Concur Technologies where he was sales manager. Previously he worked for Outtask which was taken over by Concur.
Rocco Forte appoints conference director
Rocco Forte Hotels has appointed Murray Thomson to the newly-created position of brand conference and incentive director.
Mr Thomson was previously UK sales and marketing manager for the hotel chain.
He joined Forte in 1997 and has worked as director of sales at both The Balmoral and Lowry hotels in, respectively, Edinburgh and Manchester.
Harvey switches to Travelodge
Paul Harvey, previously UK finance director for Hilton International, has joined Travelodge as a board member and director of property and development.
Mr Harvey worked for Hilton for more than nine years, holding posts as vp Japan and Micronesia, managing director Livingwell and finance director.
He has also previously worked for Le Meridien, Forte London and Grosvenor House.
