Crowne Plaza, a brand of the InterContinental hotel group, will open a new hotel in Ankara (Turkey) towards the end of next year. The company has signed a 30-year franchise deal for the property with Yeni Gimat Isyerleri Isletmesi A.S and Laledan. The Crowne Plaza Ankara will have 264 rooms, a ballroom with a capacity of 400, eight meeting rooms, as well as sauna, steam room and Turkish hamam facilities.
InterContinental currently operate six hotels in Turkey, though this is their first opening in Ankara. Future developments include the Crowne Plaza Istanbul-Old City and the Holiday Inn Istanbul Airport-North.
