Marriott International will open its first Courtyard by Marriott hotel in Scotland in 2009 and next to Aberdeen airport.
The hotel will be located within easy walking distance of the airport”s main passenger terminal and within a short drive of Aberdeen city centre.
Internet access, large lit-desks, flat screen televisions and tea-making facilities will be available in all rooms of the hotel.
In addition, twenty-four hour food and beverage service will be available at the lounge/bar to accommodate travellers arriving during the day and night.
For conferences the hotel has a flexible, 3,200 sq ft meeting room that will be divisible into five sections
”We have gone to great lengths to design a hotel product that appeals to European travellers, including those in the United Kingdom.” said International Lodging at Marriott president and managing director, Ed Fuller.
”We have aggressive plans to roll out this hotel product throughout Europe.”
