Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has revealed plans to manage a new establishment in Milan, set to open in 2010.
The property will feature 104 guestrooms - 34 of which will be suites - an open courtyard in the heart of the building, a variety of restaurants and bars, an indoor pool, a spa, and a fitness centre. A 100-capacity ballroom and two meeting rooms will cater to business and conferencing needs.
Centrally located, the hotel will be housed in the refurbishment of three elegant 19th century buildings, on the prestigious Via Monte di Pieta - one of Milan”s most upmarket addresses.

Milan is northern Italy”s key commercial city and one of the fashion capitals of the world. The hotel will be located in close proximity to the city”s commercial and tourist centre.
