Homewood Suites by Hilton, which operates upscale, all-suite, residential-style hotels throughout the US, has opened its 200th property in London, Ontario and its sixth in Canada.
Located within the central business district, the five-storey building comprises 106 suites that all feature fully equipped kitchens with full size refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers. Two phones and high-speed wireless internet access are also available in all rooms.
In keeping with the Homewood Suites by Hilton brand identity, guests can make use of amenities such as an on site convenience shop, Suite Shop, exercise facilities, guest laundry, complimentary food shopping service and business centre. The property also offers a daily complimentary hot breakfast and evening meal with beverages from Monday-Thursday.
”This has been a milestone year for us and we”re especially excited about our continued Canadian development,” said senior vice president of brand management, Rebecca Wyatt. ”In addition to the London opening, another Homewood Suites is scheduled to open in Cambridge, Ontario, in the third quarter of this year.”
Homewood Suites by Hilton currently operates more than 190 hotels in the US and Canada, representing a total of some 20,000 suites. There are 30 properties presently under development, although there are as yet no plans to extend the brand internationally.
