LONDON'S five-star Langham Hilton, opposite the BBC, near Oxford Circus, has unveiled a series of initiatives to upgrade its services and facilities for business travellers.
These include the tripling in size of the Business Centre and its relocation to the lobby area allowing for more spacious, comfortable and user-friendly working conditions.
It is available 24 hours with on-site secretarial support available between 0800 and 1700 Monday to Friday.
First opened 1865 the Langham Hilton has a fascinating history including being the favourite venue of Victorian high society, an arms base and first aid post during the Second World War and subsequently acting as home to the BBC after Broadcasting House across the road was damaged in the war.
Its many famous guests over the years have included Napoleon III (who spent much of his exile there), Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, and Noel Coward.
