The Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi has 302 rooms of the highest quality and 40 splendid Khaleej suites, 4 Presidential suites, 16 Palace suites, themselves divisible into 48 individual suites. The conference centre, part of the massive complex, has a 1,200-seat auditorium and a main ballroom that can accommodate up to 2,800 people. On a slightly more modest scale Kempinski has also just opened the Grand Arena resort property in Bansko (Bulgaria), about 90 minutes drive from the capital Sofia. The hotel has 159 rooms and suites and has direct access to the cable car lift, the area renowned for its extensive network of ski runs.
