Jurys Inn has unveiled a new look at its Croydon property following a £2.75 million investment that included work to its bedrooms, bar, restaurant and lobby.
The 240 refurbished guest rooms incorporate a new blue and purple pastel colour scheme and feature murals of London attractions. Each comes equipped with high-speed wifi, an en-suite bathroom and flat-screen TV with Freeview.
Bedrooms also feature Jurys Inn’s bespoke Dream beds, and guests can upgrade to an executive room with extra space and added amenities such as a mini-fridge with snacks, laptop-sized safe, complimentary mineral water and late check-out.
The property is located a five-minute walk from East Croydon station, which offers a 17-minute train journey into either Victoria or London Bridge.
The restaurant offers menus for lunch and dinner, while guests also have access to a bar and all-day Costa Coffee station.
For corporate guests, the hotel features a new “Connectivity Area” with free high-speed wifi, as well as 14 conference and event rooms suitable for small meetings, seminars and training sessions that can accommodate between eight and 120 delegates.
Lastly, the lobby offers the new “Off the Shelf” concept where guests can purchase a selection of snacks, drinks and travel necessities.
Hazel Galloway, general manager of Jurys Inn Croydon, said: “This is an exciting time for Jurys Inn Croydon as the hotel’s bedrooms and public areas have been transformed with a brand new look. We are delighted with the results of the refurbishment, which is just the start of a new chapter for the hotel, and look forward to welcoming guests to Jurys Inn Croydon.”
Jurys Inn was acquired by Fattal Group in 2017 and now operates in partnership with Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland. It was voted Best Small Hotel Group at the 2017 and 2018 Business Travel Awards.
