Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG) is revamping its rewards scheme by offering members 10 points for every $1 charged to their room.
IHG members will also now have access to free Internet across all IHG properties.
With the new earnings structure, IHG Rewards Club members will be able to earn on average four times as many points per stay.
The upgrade will enable guests to unlock and redeem numerous rewards and travel extras including: music downloads; car rental; gift cards for leading retailers; red letter days and hotel nights.
