Express by Holiday Inn is to open a new property in Antrim, Northern Ireland, as the Province continues to go from strength to strength.
The hotel will be the first in Northern Ireland to be developed by Culzean Estates and managed by Glasgow-based BDL Hotel Group, with the property a ten-minute drive from Belfast International Airport.
Business travellers will be able to access the hotel”s four, purpose-built meeting rooms, which feature air conditioning, wireless internet access, natural daylight and black-out facilities. The rooms can accommodate up to 160 people, with each area able to hold 40 delegates in ”theatre-style.”
”The opening of our new Antrim property in such a prime location will be a great addition to the IHG portfolio and, as our second Express by Holiday Inn hotel in Northern Ireland, will help establish the brand further in the region,” said IHG chief operating officer, Alexi Hakim.
Twin, double and interconnecting rooms are available, accommodating up to two adults and two children, with a standard room rate of ”59 per night, including Ulster buffet breakfast.
”With tourism on the up in Northern Ireland, there has never been a better time to be in the hotel sector,” said Antrim general manager, Jim Mingle. ”Being in the Junction One leisure and retail complex, the hotel will act as a driver to encourage visitors to stay longer in the Antrim area.”
The BDL Hotel Group will also open a Holiday Inn in Chessington, near London at the end of June.
