Hilton Hotels is planning a further major development of its Hampton brand properties in the UK.
The hotel chain has signed an agreement with Somerston Hotels UK to re-brand 25 of its existing 34 properties in the UK as Hamptons over the next five years.
This is the second major development announced by Hilton for the UK is the past two weeks.
It has already announced plans in partnership with Shiva Hotels, for 15 new properties including the Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Doubletree and Hampton brands.
The new development will provide 3,000 new rooms.
Ian Carter, ceo of Hilton's international operations, said: "These alliances are indicative of our ambition for growth and market leadership across a number of market segments.
"Specifically, we have a target of doubling our UK estate from 75 to 150 hotels in 10 years, and with the interest and support of leading property developers and franchise operators, we are well on the way to achieving this."
Child not to join HRG

The travel management company said in the same statement that its business was trading "in line with management expectations."
