Budget brand Hampton by Hilton is planning to double its UK presence within two years.
The chain, which is part of Hilton Worldwide, has just opened its 11th British property at Exeter airport and it will be followed by new hotels in Birmingham later this summer and at Gatwick airport in early 2014.
Hampton by Hilton, which only entered the UK market in 2009, plans to have a total of 23 hotels in the UK by 2015.
Patrick Fitzgibbon, senior vice president, development, Europe and Africa for Hilton Worldwide, said, “Hampton by Hilton’s continued UK growth is giving increasingly savvy consumers greater access to exceptional hotel experiences at highly competitive rates and in more locations.
“With these latest hotels in Gatwick and Birmingham now under development, the strong momentum behind Hampton by Hilton means we are on track to double the current UK portfolio by 2015.”
Hampton by Hilton properties offer free internet access and hot breakfasts included in the room rate as well as 24-hour business and fitness centres.
