As work continues on extensions to the airport terminal itself, Express by Holiday Inn London Stansted has opened an additional 71 guestrooms, making it the largest of its kind in Europe.
Situated five minutes from the terminal at the junction of the main A120 and the airport spur road, the property now has 254 rooms that all feature air conditioning, power shower, tea and coffee making facilities and interactive TV with high speed internet connection.
The hotel also offers six meeting rooms with natural daylight, which can accommodate up to 36 boardroom style. On the ground floor there is an informal lounge with plasma TV, serving complimentary breakfast and light evening meals. The hotel also provides 175 car parking spaces and shuttle bus to the airport.
One of InterContinental Hotel Group”s limited service brands, Express by Holiday Inn is one of the fastest growing in its sector, with more than 145,500 rooms and 1,700 hotels currently in operation and a further 600 in the pipeline.
