Dubai’s Jumeirah Emirates Towers hotel has launched a month-long stay package aimed at digital nomads taking advantage of the emirate’s recently announced one-year virtual working programme.
The Jumeirah Discover Remote Work package includes a room at the hotel, access to co-working space in a private lounge with high speed WiFi, IT support and complimentary printing, breakfast, laundry services and access to Jumeirah's private beach and fitness facilities.
The package costs £3,200 for a 31 day stay and also includes a free PCR test per stay and airport pick-up and drop off. Half and full-board offers are available for an extra £400 and £1,000 a month.
Jose Silva, CEO of Jumeirah Group, said: ”For many, working remotely is now a way of life and in the post-pandemic world we expect to see more people doing business outside of the traditional office environment. Dubai offers a safe space for a generation of digital nomads who want to embrace a unique work-life balance where industrious focus is rewarded with unrivalled leisure experiences.”
People signing up to the new virtual working programme must earn at least US$5,000 a month, have health insurance valid in Dubai and pay an application fee of US$287. The scheme is open to any nationality and allows successful applicants to open bank and utility accounts as well as accessing Dubai’s education system.
