De Vere Venues, one of three branches within the De Vere Collection hotel group offering dedicated business facilities, is to open a training, meeting and conference centre in Central London.
Opening on 10 September this year, West One will be located five minutes walk from Oxford Circus on the west side of Portland Place (artist's impression pictured right). A range of sizeable conference facilities will be available, together with multi-sized training and meeting rooms over five floors, the largest of which will hold up to 250 delegates.
”We have seen an extensive demand for high quality training, conference and meeting facilities in central London at our recently opened De Vere Venues Holborn Bars,” said De Vere Collection COO, Tony Dangerfield.
”The development of West One, our second De Vere Venue in London”s West End, is a key stepping stone in establishing our non-residential offering. We envisage this new property being a real hit with businesses looking for space in an easily accessible, professional but relaxed environment.”
The very latest in technology is being installed in the 1950s building and all visitors will have access to free, comprehensive wi-fi connection, wired broadband internet, access to state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and support facilities.
A restaurant with fully open exhibition-style kitchen ” Steam Bake & Grill ” will offer customers the chance to watch their food being cooked and avoiding the traditional self-serve restaurants common to many meeting venues.
West One will be the third in the De Vere Venue portfolio to offer this restaurant concept, although the company plans to roll it out across all its properties in the near future.
