A NEW PURPOSE-built venue for conferences and events opened last month as part of Twickenham's South Stand development. Rugby House, as the new facility is to be known, provides an additional 5,000m2 of integrated function space. This includes the Live Room, with tiered seating for up to 400 delegates, with the ability to remove the seating and stage to create an area for exhibitions, product launches and banquets.
Twickenham Stadium's banqueting capacity will also increase with the Rose Suite capable of seating up to 800 people. Level Two has a variety of suites accommodating between 60 and 400, enabling users to mix all-day conferences with an evening function. In addition, the integral 4-star Marriott Hotel has 156 rooms, including six VIP suites overlooking the pitch.
