Lord (John) King passed away last week after a short illness. Pompous, arrogant some would say but with a sense of humour, and a businessman par excellence. During a long career than included failures besides an illustrious list of successes he will be best remembered for taking British Airways private and turning it into a successful marketing led operation, the ”World”s Favourite Airline”.
