Jet Airways is in talks with Dusseldorf Airport about starting services from there to the India city of Mumbai.
Naresh Goyal, founder and chairman of the Indian carrier, said he was also looking at possible new routes from Berlin, Munich and Milan where aslitalöia has recently cut services.
Mr Goyal who founded Jet Airwats in 1993, siad the carrier would be starting an immediater code-share operation with Brussels Airlines between Berlin and the Belgian capital.
He was also hoping to start code-share operations with Brussels Airlines from Munich and Frankfurt to Brussels which could take passengers onto New York and Canada.
Speaking at a press conference at ITB in Berlin, Mr Goyal said that the alliance beween his carrier and Brussels Airlines was a "serious partnership."
He had opned his first European hub at Brussels Airport last May which had daily services to New York and Toronto.
Mr Goyal said he also wanted to work more closely with Air India, India's national carrier.
"We could get 50% of the Indian market and imprive servcies," he said.
