A salesman had been on the road for several days when he encountered difficulties with his airline booking. The possibility of not getting on to the required flight made his blood boil. The poor counter clerk endured it all stoically. After sorting him out and finding him a seat she pinned a bright badge on to his lapel and told him to show it to the cabin staff once on board. Anticipating VIP treatment he immediately sorted out a flight attendant and pointed to the badge. She looked puzzled and asked who had given it to him. ”Does it matter,” he exclaimed.
”Not really sir, but that is the badge we normally put on children who require special attention!”
