Language has always been a problem with cabin service on aircraft.
Things are getting no better.
When a vegetarian meal is booked the flight attendant will see it on the day”s roster. It then has to be allocated to a passenger. Checking is also needed.
Heard on a recent flight:
”Excuse me sir, are you a vegetarian?”
”Certainly not! I am Swiss. I might look like a Hungarian!”
