Birmingham Airport has made a wise decision to rename its new ”17m flagship rail service ”Skyrail”. Whilst we would all agree that it is not a very inspiring moniker, it is less embarrassing than ”Airport Rail Shuttle”, the project”s code name. This translates to its acronym ”ARS”.
(which was how the distinguished former managing director explained away the previous electro magnetic system ”A pain in the etc!”).
