It has been reported that at a minor regional UK airport an individual was stopped by security whilst in possession of a compass, protractor and slide rule.
Further investigation showed that he was a teacher at a world famous public school.
Questioned by a keen reporter at the local newspaper the young airport protection squad trainee said that they has been told to look out for a member of the notorious Al Jolson brigade.
The teacher is being charged with carrying weapons of maths instruction.
