Business travel management platform Tripism has introduced a new ‘smart itinerary’ feature that uses AI to make personalised recommendations linked to travel bookinga.
The feature integrates a company’s travel policy with traveller profiles and personal preferences to deliver “real-time, relevant information and recommendations in a single, unified view,” the company said.
The new capability brings together various elements of a business trip – including flights, hotel, ground transport and meetings – and overlays personalised information such as expense policy guidance and corporate benefits, according to Tripism. It also offers restaurant recommendations shared by colleagues that align with company policy and office locations.
All bookings, preferences, benefits and recommendations sit in a centralised itinerary that updates automatically, the company added.
“We believe business travel should feel effortless. Smart itinerary empowers travellers with the information they need so that they can concentrate on the purpose of their business trip,” said Tripism CEO Adam Kerr. “At the same time, smart itinerary gives organisations the confidence that their people remain safe, compliant and supported using AI technology.”
