Travel data specialist Travelogix has started working directly with corporates as part of a “strategic expansion” of its services.
Travelogix has previously focused on working directly with travel management companies and TMC networks such as the Advantage Travel Partnership.
The company has announced its first direct corporate customer deal with Denmark-based water pump manufacturer Grundfos, which Travelogix described as a “significant milestone in the company’s continued expansion into the buyer community”.
“More and more, we are learning just what some large enterprise buyers want: they want control of their travel programme and, more importantly, their tech stack and the capabilities within it,” explained Chris Lewis, founder and CEO of Travelogix.
The deal will give Grundfos access to Travelogix’s Analytix platform, which provides analysis of travel spend, traveller behaviour and programme performance. The corporate will also enhance its sustainability strategy through an integration with Travelogix’s sustainability reporting partner Thrust Carbon.
Nomi Kustosz Andersen, Grundfos’ travel sustainability lead and communications specialist, said: “Travelogix’s platform, Analytix, provides us with the ability to create fully customised dashboards for our organisation, enabling deeper drill-down into data. In addition, the option to combine spend data with emissions data strongly supports Grundfos’ business travel emissions strategy.”
Lewis added: “Aligning ourselves with Grundfos highlights our strength in travel data management and reporting. This strategic expansion brings the solutions we've perfected over 14 years in the TMC world directly to the corporate buyer community.
“This exciting new partnership with Grundfos is an exciting step in the evolution of our company, and of course, our solutions.”
