Wings Travel Management has signed an agreement with Sabre Corporation to enhance its multi-national content and technology capabilities.
The TMC’s consultants are now able to leverage the GDS technology, data-driven insights and interface of the Sabre Red 360 travel agency desktop, which it said can help it offer a greater choice of air fares, hotel rates and booking options.
According to Sabre, the platform is fully integrated with Wings’ proprietary mid and back-office system, Travel Management Application (TMA), which is used by all staff of the company’s owned and managed operations worldwide.
The agreement will also support Wings’ global growth, particularly in the Americas, where the TMC won new business last year and also expanded its footprint by acquiring the corporate and energy travel business of Louisiana-based Associated Travel.
