Ground transportation provider GET-E has reached a new
strategic partnership agreement with Travelport to allow agencies to book taxis
and vehicles.
The agreement will enable 68,000 travel agencies to connect
to Travelport Smartpoint to search, book and connect GET-E’s range of taxi,
saloon, minivan and executive vehicle services to pre-booked flights on behalf
of travellers.
According to Travelport, this will provide users with a
workflow within a single UI while connecting flight bookings with airport
transfers.

The partnership is being launched in conjunction with the UK
arm of global TMC Travel and Transport (formerly Travel and Transport
Statesman).
