Doug Anderson
Doug Anderson, formerly CEO of American Express Global Business Travel and CWT, has joined the board of Wings Travel Management as a non-executive director.
Anderson, who stepped down from his position at American Express GBT in 2019, will help to support London-based Wings in its “next phase” of expansion.
“Wings is a classic example of an entrepreneurial success story,” said Anderson. “To get a new business off the ground is relatively easy. To keep it there for the next 30 years and to grow it to become a global player is an impressive achievement.
“The challenge now is how to take success to the next level. I’m excited to be supporting the management team to make that happen.”
Anderson, who has 15 years' experience in the corporate travel industry, has also held the position of chief financial officer at airline IT specialist SITA during his career.

Wings Travel Management was ranked as the 15th largest TMC in the UK in BTN Europe’s list of Europe’s Leading TMCs 2022.
