Travel management company Reed & Mackay has promoted Graeme Fyvie to the role of general manager – energy and marine, as the company looks to sharpen its focus on the sector.
Based in Aberdeen, Scotland, Fyvie has spent the last 11 years with the company, working across its UK operations and most recently serving as head of operations.
Commenting on this new role, Fyvie said: “Providing best-in-class service for complex multinational companies is where Reed & Mackay excels, and we have a long-established understanding of the complexities of the energy and marine sector.
“We have dedicated significant resources to creating valuable solutions for the industry, and I am excited to now be ready to execute our elevated service offering,” he added.
The appointment comes as the TMC rolls out a new ‘bespoke’ platform for the energy and marine sector that, according the company, automates aspects of the booking process for large-scale crew rotations and facilitates competitive fare sourcing.
Reed & Mackay global CEO Fred Stratford said the new platform represents a strategic investment as the company seeks to address the “evolving demands” of clients in the sector.
“With our proprietary technology, dedicated Aberdeen office and a newly appointed, dedicated general manager, we are in a fantastic position to provide an enhanced service offering for this vital sector."
