Gianni Salvadori has assumed the new position of head of global sales business travel & MICE, UK & Ireland at Meliá Hotels International.
Salvadori has been with Meliá for more than four years and was previously the head of business travel sales, UK & Ireland. During his time with the group, Salvadori has made numerous improvements to the organisation and within his field, which the company says has improved performance and sales figures.
With more than 20 years’ experience within the travel industry working in a multitude of segments including tour operators, cruises, TMCs, airlines and hotels, Salvadori has helped develop Meliá’s UK portfolio.
