TMC Navan has integrated AI-powered event planning platform BoomPop into its Meetings & Events platform, enabling use of BoomPop's sourcing and meetings management capabilities within Navan.
BoomPop, which was named the winner of Phocuswright's Innovate: Launch competition in 2025, operates as a planning co-pilot, with users able to use natural language enquiries to generate suggested dates, locations and venues. It can then source venues, negotiate requests for proposals (RFPs), and manage agendas and room blocks within the platform.
With the Navan integration, users can perform these actions through the Navan Meetings & Events platform and manage venue invoices and contracts, alongside travel and expense data.
Navan said it facilitated 30,000 events through its self-serve travel platform in 2025. While the portal could manage logistics for individual travellers, the sourcing for room blocks and venues had remained a manual process.
“Most companies remain trapped in a web of emails and spreadsheets, a time-consuming process that results in a poor experience for high-stakes events like sales kickoffs and team offsites,” said Galen Grady, Navan’s SVP and general manager of meetings and events in a statement.
“At Navan, we’re creating a single ecosystem where our customers can manage the entire event lifecycle.”
Navan said BoomPop's capabilities within its meetings and events platform currently is in beta testing for customers in the US. The TMC added that it plans a “full launch in the near future”.
