UK-based event management platform CrowdComms has acquired EventEye, a Norway-based mobile app and virtual event platform for an undisclosed sum.
The move will see CrowdComms expand operations in the Nordics, with EventEye co-founder Fredrik Hoel continuing as CrowdComms Nordics managing director. Fellow co-founder Ane Jemblie Kristoffersen, who served as EventEye’s chief commercial officer and then as board chairman since 2020, has left the business.
CrowdComms CEO Matt Allen said the two companies have collaborated for several years, with EventEye having represented CrowdComms in the Nordics for the past six years.
“By bringing EventEye into the CrowdComms group, we’re investing further in this region and strengthening our ability to support Nordic agencies and enterprise teams with a best-in-class platform, backed by local expertise and a proven delivery team,” CrowdComms said in a statement.
This acquisition is part of a wider growth strategy, the company said, and comes after CrowdComms expanded its presence in the US in 2025 in response to “growing demand”.
“Now, with EventEye joining CrowdComms, we’re strengthening that global momentum with deeper roots in Europe’s most innovative event tech region,” the company said.
