Portman Travel has launched a dedicated product for smaller businesses with “a less substantial” travel budget.
The TMC has formed a team of consultants to run the unit, who will be based in East Kilbride alongside Portman’s other specialist divisions, which include Portman Medical and Executive Events.
John Dick, Portman Travel’s SVP operations, said Portman Club will offer “cost effective” travel management.
“Portman Club has been created to specifically address the needs of clients that have a smaller travel spend, but are no less important to us,” he said.
“Providing a complete one-stop-shop solution, Portman Club clients will receive the renowned innovation and attention of Portman Travel combined with a more personalised, tailored service.”
Portman Club customers will only have contact with two dedicated consultants, who will communicate with them via webcam.
The consultants will look at a company’s travel regularly, and flag up areas for improvement.
