Hotel sustainability specialist Greengage Solutions has acquired Responsible Futures as part of an expansion of its consulting division.
UK-based Greengage said in a statement that Responsible Futures founder and CEO Sam Cande will become its consultancy director and will lead Greengage’s 360 Consulting division. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
The two companies had already created a strategic partnership earlier this year to help businesses in corporate travel, meetings and hospitality to become more sustainable.
“Over the past six months, I’ve had the privilege of collaborating closely with Greengage Solutions,” said Cande. “This collaboration fostered a genuine sense of belonging, and as our relationship deepened, so did my desire to officially join this remarkable company.”
Andrew Perolls, CEO and founder of Greengage Solutions, added that Cande’s dedication to sustainability was “inspiring”.
“Under her guidance, our 360 Consulting division will offer an even more compelling proposition, adding expertise and resources to meet the increasing demand for sustainability consulting and training among corporate clients,” said Perolls.
Greengage also runs the ECOsmart certification programme for hotels and the EVENTsmart carbon measurement platform for corporate events. The company recently featured in BTN Europe’s Green List of sustainability specialists, which formed part of the wider Navigating towards net zero report.
