Travel management company FCM is launching a new “innovative alternative” to online booking tools, which will debut in the UK over the next few months.
The Flight Centre-owned corporate travel brand is unveiling FCM Booking at Business Travel Show Europe in London today.
The TMC said FCM Booking had been designed with an “emphasis on flexibility and client choice” by offering a flexible open-platform solution, including a choice of recommended APIs, including HR feeds, duty-of-care providers and booking tool selection.
“It is this seamless integration into the FCM platform that dispels with the usual cumbersome set up associated with other OBTs,” said the company in a statement.
“Travel managers can expect a speedy onboarding and configuration process, while the agile set up also allows for a responsive approach to fine-tuning the policy in the future.”
FCM Booking also includes a tuning feature allowing programme managers to control travel options by setting personalised algorithms and individual spending levels.
Travellers can use the platform to access aggregated air and hotel content via multiple sources in one booking flow using FCM’s own browser-extension software. Content also includes non-GDS and NDC airfares, alongside FCM’s negotiated fares and GDS rates.
The piloting of FCM Booking has already started with plans to start onboarding new customers in the UK later this year.
