No-frills airline Wizz Air is to introduce flights from Luton to Craiova in Romania.
The route will operate to the southern Romanian city three days per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from October 29.
The airline already flies from Luton to the Romanian capital Bucharest twice per day.
Wizz Air’s communications director Daniel de Carvalho said: “Wizz Air has inaugurated its very first flight from Craiova less than two months ago and we are very excited to announce a second route to the network.
“Wizz Air is actively investing in developing Romanian aviation and tourism. The connection with one of the most popular tourist and business destinations marks another big step for Wizz Air as well as the entire Oltenia region.”
Tickets for the route start at £29 one-way including taxes.
