Passengers flying out of London’s Heathrow and City airports have been hit by cancellations and delays, as thick fog settled on the city.
Flights were particularly affected yesterday and today (November 21) in the early hours, before the morning fog started to lift.
Departures and arrivals at both airports are beginning to return to normal, but passengers are being warned to check with their airline before travelling to the airport.
Adverse weather conditions in a number of other Northern European destinations, including Paris, Amsterdam and Frankfurt, has led to further disruption to passengers.
