Turkish Airlines is to remove its premium economy product from its fleet of B777-300ERs.
The decision to eliminate Comfort Class was confirmed by the airline’s CEO Temel Koti at last week's IATA AGM.
Comfort Class was only introduced as a product by Turkish Airlines three years ago.
Turkish Airlines’ new aircraft delivered from Boeing will be configured for business and economy only (Turkish does not offer a first class cabin) while existing B777-300ERs will be retrofitted.
The airline expanded its operation from Gatwick last month with a new route to Istanbul’s second airport Sabiha Gokcen.
