TAP Air Portugal on Wednesday (23 October) formally introduced its revamped corporate offering, now called TAP ForBiz, following a soft launch in July.
The programme offers “more than just discounts”, the carrier said, promising “exclusive benefits” for travellers and reporting tools for travel managers.
TAP ForBiz has been designed “with customised conditions” to support both SME and large enterprise travel programmes, the carrier added.
For SMEs, the programme offers a cashback scheme, whereby the company accumulates credits for every employee flight. Credits, which can be up to 5 per cent of the value of a flight, can be used to cover costs for future bookings, including air fare, fees and ancillaries such as extra baggage and seat selection.
Credits can also be used to purchase airport lounge access or a Fast Track security pass, the carrier said. Travellers, meanwhile, will also continue to accumulate points in the carrier’s Miles Go frequent flyer programme.
A dedicated TAP ForBiz website also provides a dashboard for travel managers to view current bookings, credit balances and flight history.
For large companies, discounts can be extended across the TAP network, while travel managers receive monthly reporting and “close monitoring” by a dedicated account manager. Employees also benefit from priority boarding and guaranteed seat reservations.
Additionally, customised packages and discounts are also offered for corporate events, with fare discounts of up to 15 per cent, the carrier said.
More than 15,000 global companies have already joined the programme, according to TAP, and SMEs that register before 21 November will receive a €50 bonus. During the registration process, travel managers complete a three-question survey, which determines how the programme is tailored to their company's travel needs, the carrier said.
