Ryanair has appointed Neil Sorahan as chief financial officer. He will take up the role on October 1, replacing Howard Millar.
Millar, who is also currently the airline’s deputy CEO, is stepping down after 23 years with Ryanair. He will join the board as a non-executive director in 2015.
Sorahan joined the airline as treasurer in 2003, and was promoted to finance director in 2006. He was recently involved in Ryanair’s first euro bond issue, which raised €850m.
