Ryanair has appointed John Hurley as chief technology officer.
Hurley will join the airline on September 15 from publishing firm Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
He will be responsible for developing and implementing Ryanair’s digital and technology strategy, heading up a team of 200 people.
Hurley will oversee the roll-out of the Ryanair ‘Labs digital innovation’ hub based at Ryanair’s new Dublin Campus.
