Flights to Portugal are set to be affected by a 24-hour general strike in the country on Thursday (June 27).
The industrial action will start at midnight and run to 23.59, and airlines have warned of potential disruption to services to and from Portugal.
Easyjet has cancelled eight flights to and from Lisbon, although none of these are from the UK. For full details, click here.
The airline added: “It is highly likely that all other Easyjet flights operating through Lisbon airport will suffer some disruption. We ask customers for their patience if your flight is subject to delay.
“Our flights operating through Faro, Funchal and Oporto are currently all planned to operate, however due to air traffic control restrictions could also be subject to delays.”
British Airways said it planned to operate flights to Lisbon and Faro as normal on Thursday but admitted there could be “some last-minute delays”.
“Public transport in Portugal is also expected to be disrupted, so we recommend that you check the status of your flight and allow plenty of time to travel to the airport,” added BA.
