The national carrier of Oman is set to add a fourth destination to its network in the UAE on May 3.
Al Ain is the second largest city in Abu Dhabi. It will be Oman Air's 35th destination.
The airline also serves the Emirates Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Ras Al Khaimah.
Peter Hill, Oman Air's CEO, said: "Al Ain is the fourth largest city in the United Arab Emirates and is often referred to as the 'Garden City of the Gulf'." The new route will be operated using an ATR 42 aircraft.
Kuala Lumpur will also join Oman Air's network from May 1, and Ras Al Khaimah from May 2. The middle eastern carrier will also start flights to Lahore, Islamabad, Dar-Es-Salaam and Kathmandu this summer.
Milan is set to join the network as part of Oman Air's winter schedule.
