CityJet, the Air France/KLM subsidiary that flies from London City airport, has confirmed its first route to Germany.
The airline will begin flights to Munster-Osnabruck airport on October 29. The Munster area is known as a centre of green technology and a popular conference venue. CityJet also believes there is a market in offering a link to London for the area’s SMEs.
Flights will operate daily with fares from £128 return, including taxes and charges. The new route increases CityJet’s network to 19 destinations across Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and the UK.
Christine Ourmières, CityJet chief executive said: “By starting services to Münster, CityJet is expanding its appeal to the UK MiCE industry as well as facilitating a new trade corridor for the rapidly expanding British green technologies and renewable energies market.”
