Lufthansa is introducing its new Allegris cabins on flights from Frankfurt to Toronto, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Hyderabad and Austin this winter.
The German carrier, which started offering its Allegris product onboard Airbus A350 aircraft on routes from Munich in May 2024, launched its first Allegris service from Frankfurt to Toronto last week using new Boeing 787-9s.
Lufthansa said the Allegris service would also be available on flights from Frankfurt to Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá and Hyderabad during the winter schedule which starts in late October, with services to Austin being added in December.
Francesco Sciortino, Frankfurt hub manager for Lufthansa Airlines, said: “We are delighted that we will now be able to offer our passengers from Frankfurt our latest and significantly upgraded travel experience on long-haul flights with Allegris.
“Allegris has been enthusiastically received by guests who have already experienced it. We are therefore particularly proud that the new premium cabin is now also being used on other routes and above all, from our largest hubs.”
Lufthansa plans to announce more Allegris long-haul destinations from Frankfurt as it receives more Boeing 787 aircraft in the coming weeks.
