Lufthansa will receive 23 commercial aircraft this year, including seven new jets over the next two months.
The German carrier will take delivery of three B747-8s, one A380, an A330 and two A320s by the end of March.
Boeing last week delivered Lufthansa's tenth Boeing 747-8 to Frankfurt.
The airline said this B747-8 has already been fully fitted-out, and is expected to start scheduled passenger flights by the end of this month.
It will replace the carrier's older B747-400 aircraft and is around 30 per cent quieter than that model.
Christoph Franz, CEO of Lufthansa Group, said: "With these new, state-of-the-art aircraft, we are investing in both passenger comfort for customers and the ecological sustainability of flight operations."
Lufthansa's new aircraft deliveries in 2014 form part of a comprehensive fleet modernisation programme. The carrier will receive 261 new aircraft by 2025, at a list price of 32 billion Euros (US$44 billion).
